Gov. Healey and UWCM launches fundraiser to help flooded farms
Gov. Healey and the United Way of Central Massachusetts (UWCM) have launched the Massachusetts Farm Resiliency Fund to provide immediate relief for farmers affected by flooding. The initiative seeks to raise private donations to offset recovery costs and strengthen long-term farm resilience.

MacKenzie Scott's $5 million donation to United Way of Central Massachusetts enabled significant community impact, funding youth programs, refugee support, and economic initiatives. CEO Tim Garvin emphasized its transformative nature, allowing for immediate, strategic aid beyond traditional funding cycles.
Worcester Housing Authority on T&G Santa's List
The T&G Santa Fund, in partnership with United Way, will provide gifts for 400 children in Worcester Housing Authority's Great Brook Valley Gardens and Curtis Apartments. WHA seeks donations of wrapping supplies to help parents make Christmas special.
