Our History...

For 90 years, United Way of Central Massachusetts has played a critical role by helping those most in need. As community leaders, we convene local resources - donors, volunteers, partners and agencies - to address the most critical human needs and create measurable results in the community.

Creating Positive Impact in the Community

Community Impact is improving people's lives by bringing together local resources in order to create positive and lasting changes and measurable results in existing social conditions.

How We Got Here

In order to create the greatest positive chance, we first identified the most immediate problems we face. We then worked with volunteers and leaders to generate solutions to the most pressing needs and the the most criticak issues facing the Central Massachusetts community.

We've learned that our community is in a cyclical pattern, where children in need grow up to become adults in need. By focusing on the root causes and needs of our children and youth, we are able to create measurable results that are changing the future of our community.
