Rear Entrance – 25 High Street (This is the 3rd Floor)

FROM SPRINGFIELD:

Mass. Pike to Auburn, Exit 10. Follow signs to I-290 Worcester.
To I-290 East to Worcester (about 5 miles)
To Exit 13, Vernon Street, Worcester
Turn left at the light to Route 122 North.
Through Kelly Square which is a rotary. Exxon Gas Station on left, Hess Station on right.
Continue on Route 122 North.
Through 3 traffic lights
Take first right onto Murray Avenue, which is after the 3rd traffic light
Through traffic light and up the hill. (Note, Murray Avenue becomes High Street)
25 High St., first building on the right.
Parking garage is after the building entrance on the right. (see parking details below)

FROM BOSTON:

Take the MA turnpike to Worcester, Exit 10A (will be the exit after Millbury-Worcester)
Follow signs to ramp for Worcester, Rte 146.
At bottom of ramp at Rte 146, turn right; follow Rte 146 to traffic light, about 1.7 miles
Turn left at traffic lights and then an immediate right at sign Vernon Hill, Kelly Square – this is Providence Street.
Proceed approximately .8 miles along Providence Street to street light
Turn left at Street light & sign will say 122A North, proceed down hill and merge to right at bottom and continue down incline, over I 290 into Kelly Square
Aim for Hess gas station and go through Kelly Square, which has 5 roads intersecting. Keep Hess Station on right and Exxon Gas Station on left
Continue on Route 122 North.
Through 3 traffic lights
Take first right onto Murray Avenue, which is after the 3rd traffic light and right after Kirsch liquor store
Through traffic light and up the hill. (Note, Murray Avenue becomes High Street)
Proceed through intersection with stop sign at top of hill
Parking garage is immediately on right, after the Denholm building entrance.(see parking details below)
25 High is first building on the right. (This is back of building United Way is in. Enter building on this High Street level and walk straight ahead. Office is on this level at end of corridor - # 300)

FROM LOWELL:

Take I-495 South to I-290.
Take Exit 23, Vernon Street. Turn right onto Route 122.
Through Kelly Square which is a rotary. Exxon Gas Station on left, Hess Station on right.
Continue on Route 122 North.
Through 3 traffic lights
Take first right onto Murray Avenue, which is after the 3rd traffic light
Through traffic light up the hill. Note, Murray Avenue becomes High Street.
25 High is first building on the right.
Parking garage is after the building entrance on the right. (see parking details below)

PARKING DETAILS:

Parking for the Denholm Building has recently changed. The parking lot adjacent to the High Street entrance will close as of April 11, 2008.  Please use the garage just beyond the Denholm building on the right. When you pass the entrance to 25 High Street (the door reads 25 Denholm), take your immediate right (about 20 feet beyond the building entrance), you will see a small sign up high for Worcester Public Parking Garage. Park anywhere in the garage. The fee is $2.00 per hour with a maximum charge of $6.00.  

You will enter the Denholm Building at 25 High Street on the third floor; walk all the way to the end of the long corridor; when you see the United Way logo ahead through the glass windows, you've arrived.

Please note, if you choose to Mapquest the directions, use the 25 High Street address. Although we are technically located at 484 Main Street, there is no parking in the front of the building, High Street is the rear entrance to the building.

CAUTION... do not park in any other lots surrounding our building (Main Street, Chatham Street area). These lots are privately owned and you will be towed at your own expense.
