Inspire By Example AwardsUnited Way of Central Massachusetts honors the outstanding work of volunteers with our Inspire by Example Awards. Dedicated volunteers who demonstrate a commitment to community service are selected to receive special recognition during National Volunteer Week. They are chosen from three categories: youth, adult and business and are recognized for the valuable work they do to strengthen the community. Adult: Eileen Perez
Eileen is a volunteer with the Young Parents Program at the YWCA of Central Massachusetts. As a tutor to young women in the GED preparation program, Eileen provides support, encouragement and is a positive role model for the students. Young women in the program view her as a true ally who can help them to be successful. |
