Erik G. Wexler, president and CEO of St. Vincent Hospital, and attorney John Spillane of Spillane & Spillane, LLP, will lead the United Way of Central Massachusetts campaign this year.
Mr. Wexler has been the president and CEO of St. Vincent since July 2011. Under his leadership, St. Vincent has been recognized for two years in a row as one of the nation’s Top 100 Hospitals by Thomson Reuters.
“I am thrilled to help lead this critical campaign that helps many of us, not only those in need, but members of our community that access charitable services for the betterment of our lives. The United Way has a long and rich history of providing funding to agencies with careful evaluation of their programs and services. It’s a pleasure for me to be a part of this effort and to inspire others to give for the good of us all,” said Mr. Wexler.
Mr. Spillane is the senior partner of Spillane & Spillane LLP and has been a practicing attorney since 1957. For 56 years, he has been providing legal advice and representation to small businesses and individuals throughout Massachusetts.
“I am very excited to lead the United Way of Central Massachusetts 2013 Campaign with Erik. I am impressed with the great number of existing United Way business partners that have made substantial and continuing investments in our communities.
